Bengals Re-Sign WR Brandon Tate To A One-Year Deal

The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they’ve re-signed WR Brandon Tate on Friday.

Rand Getlin reports that Tate receives a one-year contract from the Bengals.

This appears to be an indication that the Bengals are planning to allow free agent WRs Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu to test the open market in the coming days.

Tate, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2009. He pasted just over three years in New England before he was later claimed off of waivers by the Bengals.

In 2015, Tate appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded two receptions for 59 yards receiving and contributed 413 kick return yards and another 171 punt return yards.
