Bengals CB Darqueze Dennard Needs Shoulder Surgery, Out For Season

ESPN’s Adam Schefter has confirmed that Bengals CB Darqueze Dennard will, in fact, be undergoing shoulder surgery and miss the remainder of the 2015 season.

Cincinnati will likely place him on season-ending injured reserve in the coming and add someone to their roster.

Dennard, 24, is in the second year of his  four-year, $7.978 million rookie contract that included $6.47 million guaranteed. He’ll make base salaries of $782,677 (2015), $1,145,355 (2016), and $988,032 (2017) over the remainder of the contract.

This season, Dennard has recorded 20 tackles, one interception, and three pass defenses for the Bengals over the course of 10 games.
