Bengals S George Iloka’s Suspension Reduced To Fine

The NFL announced Wednesday that Bengals S George Iloka‘s one-game suspension has been reduced to a $35,464.50 fine.

Iloka was suspended one game for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Steelers WR Antonio Brown during Monday night’s loss.

Iloka elected to appeal the ban and it appears as though the league agreed that it wasn’t worthy of a suspension.

Iloka, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2012. He’s currently in the second year of his five-year, $30 million contract that includes $5 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $5.2 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Iloka has appeared in 12 games and recorded 59 tackles, one interception, and four pass defenses.
