The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday that they’ve signed kicker Tristan Vizcaino to a futures contract.
As of now, the Bengals have signed six players to futures deals including:
- TE Moritz Bohringer
- S Demetrious Cox
- C Brad Lundblade
- TE Andrew Vollert
- WR Kermit Whitfield
- K Tristan Vizcaino
Vizcaino recently tried out for the Bengals, so he was clearly on their radar as a potential addition.
Vizcaino wound up going undrafted out of Washington last year, but did not sign on with an NFL team this past season.
During his four-year college career, Vizcaino converted 12 of 20 field goal attempts (60 percent) and 49 of 52 extra point tries (94.2) over the course of 37 games. He also totaled 2,273 punt yards on 56 attempts (40.6 YPA).
