The Cincinnati Bengals announced the signing of former Steelers OLB Chris Carter Wednesday.

Carter, 25, was a fifth round pick of the Steelers back in 2011. He signed with the Colts in September, but was waived only a month later. Cincinnati has experienced a good deal of turnover in the back end of their linebacking corps. Carter could find himself active on the remaining game days.
Over the last four years, Carter has appeared in 30 games and recorded eight tackles , one fumble recovery and nine special teams stops.
