The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they’ve signed RB Brian Hill off of the Falcons’ practice squad on Tuesday and waived LB Hardy Nickerson.

  • Cincinnati also re-signed CB Sojourn Shelton to their practice squad.

The Bengals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Brandon Bell
  2. OT Kent Perkins
  3. WR Kermit Whitfield
  4. DT DeShawn Williams
  5. RB Jarveon Williams
  6. G J.J. Dielman
  7. CB Tony McRae
  8. TE Scott Orndoff
  9. CB Sojourn Shelton

Hill, 21, was selected in the fifth-round of this year’s draft by the Falcons. He signed a four-year, $2.66 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason before being waived a month ago.

The Falcons later signed Hill to their practice squad after cleared waivers.

In 2017, Hill has been active for one game, but has yet to receive a carry.
