Bengals Sign RB Brian Hill Off Falcons’ Practice Squad, Waive LB Hardy Nickerson

The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they’ve signed RB Brian Hill off of the Falcons’ practice squad on Tuesday and waived LB Hardy Nickerson.

  • Cincinnati also re-signed CB Sojourn Shelton to their practice squad.

The Bengals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Brandon Bell
  2. OT Kent Perkins
  3. WR Kermit Whitfield
  4. DT DeShawn Williams
  5. RB Jarveon Williams
  6. G J.J. Dielman
  7. CB Tony McRae
  8. TE Scott Orndoff
  9. CB Sojourn Shelton

Hill, 21, was selected in the fifth-round of this year’s draft by the Falcons. He signed a four-year, $2.66 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason before being waived a month ago.

The Falcons later signed Hill to their practice squad after cleared waivers.

In 2017, Hill has been active for one game, but has yet to receive a carry.
