Bengals Sign Second-Round RB Joe Mixon

The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with second-round RB Joe Mixon to a four-year rookie contract, according to Mike Garofolo.

Mixon, 20, was selected with the No. 48 overall pick after the Bengals elected to trade down with the Vikings from No. 41. In total, Cincinnati acquired a second- and fourth-round pick in this year’s draft.

According to OverTheCap.com, Mixon will receive a four-year contract worth $5,450,162, which includes a signing bonus of $2,103,752.

During his college career at Oklahoma, Mixon has rushed for 2,027 yards on 301 carries (6.7 YPC) to go along with 65 receptions for 894 yards receiving and 26 total touchdowns over the courses of 25 games. Mixon has also contributed 504 kick return yards and a touchdown.
