Bengals TE Tyler Kroft Has Broken Foot, Could Be Out For Season

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Bengals TE Tyler Kroft has a broken bone in his foot and will miss at least the next two games against the Chiefs and Steelers.

According to Schefter, Kroft is scheduled to meet with a specialist within the next two weeks to determine whether he can play through the injury or whether he needs season-ending surgery

This comes a few weeks after the Bengals lost TE Tyler Eifert for the season due to a broken ankle.

Cincinnati will turn to C.J. Uzomah at tight end for the time being.

Kroft, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals bcak in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2,971,276 contract and set to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2018 season.

Kroft will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Kroft has appeared in five games and caught four passes for 36 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
