Bengals, Vikings, Packers & Jaguars Showing Most Interest In Joe Mixon?

Peter King of TheMMQB.com is hearing that Joe Mixon has garnered the most interest from the Bengals, Vikings, Packers and Jaguars up to this point.

King adds that the Bengals are the team to watch at No. 41 overall, given that team owner Mike Brown has taken chances in the past on players with off-field issues.

Mixon has visited with the Browns, Buccaneers, Saints, Packers, Chargers, Raiders, Bengals and Broncos and Aditi Kinkhabwala reported that the Lions, Saints, Bengals and Browns all met with Mixon privately before his Pro Day.

There has been a lot of buzz about Mixon being a potential second-round pick, even after the incident in which he punched a female student and missed a full season.

Mixon and Amelia Molitor, the woman he punched a few years ago, recently released a joint statement after they agreed to a civil settlement.

Mixon, 20, is considered to be one of the best running back talents in a deep draft class and may have been a first-round pick if there weren’t serious off-the-field concerns.

During his college career at Oklahoma, Mixon has rushed for 2,027 yards on 301 carries (6.7 YPC) to go along with 65 receptions for 894 yards receiving and 26 total touchdowns over the courses of 25 games. Mixon has also contributed 504 kick return yards and a touchdown.

We have him being selected by the Bengals in the Second Round of our 2017 NFL Mock Draft.
