Bengals Waive LB Sean Porter From PUP List, Sign CB Asa Jackson To PS

The Cincinnati Bengals announced a few roster moves on Monday including waiving LB Sean Porter from the PUP list.

Porter, 24, is a former fourth round pick of the Bengals back in 2013. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $2.589 million rookie contract that included a $429,300 signing bonus.

Cincinnati placed him on the physically unable to perform list coming out of the preseason.

In 2014, Porter appeared in one game, but didn’t record a single statistic.

Jackson, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He spent the first three years of his career in Baltimore before he was waived as the team cut their roster down to 53 players this past weekend.

Jackson was waived with the injury designation a few weeks ago before later reverting to the team’s injured reserve list. Baltimore wound up waiving him not long after.

This season, Jackson has appeared in four games for the Ravens and recording just one tackle.
