Bengals Waive WR Auden Tate, Promote CB KeiVarae Russell

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Thursday that they’ve waived WR Auden Tate and promoted CB KeiVarae Russell to their active roster.

Tate, 21, was taken in the seventh round of this year’s draft by the Bengals. He signed a four-year, $2,529,072 contract with Cincinnati and stands to make base salaries of $480,000 and $570,000 over the first two years of the deal.

During his college career at FSU, Tate caught 65 passes for 957 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns over the course of two seasons and 22 games.
