Bengals Worked Out Free Agent P Zolton Mesko

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Cincinnati Bengals tried out former veteran punter Zoltan Mesko on Wednesday.

However, they elected to sign T.J. Conley instead.

Mesko, 28, recently worked out for the Redskins as well, but they too wound up signing a different punter.

He spent the first three years of his career with the Patriots before bouncing around a bit in 2013.

Last year, he appeared in 7 games and was rated as the No. 17 punter in the league, according to Pro Football Focus‘ ratings.
