Bengals Worked Out Three TEs Including Clive Walford

According to Howard Balzer, the Cincinnati Bengals worked out three tight end free agents on Tuesday including Blake BellKhari Lee and Clive Walford.

The Bengals elected to sign TE Matt Lengel off of the Texans’ practice squad on Wednesday (NFLTR).

Walford, 26, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Raiders elected to place him on waivers back in April and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.

However, Walford lasted just a few months in New York, as he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Since becoming a free agent, Walford has worked out for the Jaguars and Chiefs but left both meetings without a contract.

In 2017, Walford appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
