Bengals Working Out Veteran WR Mike Williams

Jim Owczarski of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Bengals are bringing in veteran WR Mike Williams for a workout on Tuesday.

This comes less than a week after Williams traveled to New England to visit with the Patriots, so it appears as though his market is starting to pick up.

Williams, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract and later signed a six-year extension with the Bucs in July of 2013.

However, he had numerous off-the-field issues that led to the Buccaneers trading him to the Bills less than a year later for a sixth-round pick that later became Robert Herron. Buffalo elected to waive Williams towards the end of the 2014 season.

In 2014, Williams appeared in five games and caught eight passes for 142 yards receiving and a touchdown.
