Bengals WR A.J. Green Expected To Miss Week 7’s Game

ESPN’s Bob Holtzman spoke to Bengals WR A.J. Green regarding this toe injury following Sunday’s tie with the Panthers.

Green confirmed to Holtzman that his toe injury will not require surgery, but he expects to sit out of Week 7’s game against the Colts. Green will see his doctors again on Friday.

Cincinnati was forced to start Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate and Dane Sanzenbacher as their top-three receivers with Green and Marvin Jones out of the lineup.

Green, 26, aggravated his toe injury during Wednesday’s practice and was carted off the field. He has appeared in four games this season and has caught 17 passes for 314 yards and two touchdowns.

We’ll have more updates regarding Green as the news is available.
