Report: Titans Reach An Agreement G Andy Levitre

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Titans have reached an agreed in principle with G Andy Levitre on a 5-year deal worth $39 million.

Pro Football Talk reports that a league source has informed them that the Titans are expected to sign free agent G Andy Levitre to “huge-money deal.”

Levitre, 26, represents the best available interior lineman in this year’s free agent class and figures to cash in during the coming days.

It’s a little surprising that the Bills weren’t more aggressive in trying to re-sign Levitre in the past few weeks. He recently mentioned that he would have been willing to discuss a long-term extension, but they hadn’t reached out to him as of then.

We have him listed as the No. 7 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that there’s “big-time interest” in free agent G Andy Levitre.

Rapoport adds that the Titans, Broncos, Colts and Bills are all involved as of right now.

We’ve also read reports of the Bears and Chargers showing some interest in Levitre as well.
