Bills Activate RB C.J. Spiller, Probable For Week 16

Update:

The Bills made it official Friday by announcing that they have in fact activated RB C.J. Spiller from the short-term injured reserve list.

Bills HC Doug Marrone announced Friday that they will be activating RB C.J. Spiller from the short-term injured reserve list.

Spiller broke his collarbone back in October and was later placed on injured reserve with the designation to return. The overall expectation was that Spiller would be activated this week, so this news really isn’t all that surprising.

Following the season, Spiller can become a free agent, so this will be an opportunity for him to prove that he’s still a dynamic talent before the offseason is underway.

Spiller has 287 yards this season on 69 carries, good for 4.2 yards per carry.  He has added 109 receiving yards, and two total touchdowns.
