Matt Barrows of the Sacremento Bee is reporting that the Bills are bringing free agent CB Marcus Cromartie for a workout on Friday.

According to Barrows, Buffalo is interested in taking a look at Cromartie as a cornerback, but it’s possible they may view him as a safety.

Last we heard regarding Cromartie, he visited with the Lions and was reportedly drawing interest from the Seahawks, Jets and Eagles.

Cromartie, 26, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2013. He lasted just over one season with the Chargers before signing on to the 49ers’ practice squad during the 2014 season.

San Francisco declined to tender him a restricted free agent offer last week, making him an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Cromartie appeared in 10 games and recorded five tackles and no interceptions for the 49ers.
