Bills Claim CB Ryan Lewis & P Corey Bojorquez Off Waivers From Patriots

Field Yates reports that the Bills have claimed CB Ryan Lewis and P Corey Bojorquez off of waivers from the Patriots on Sunday.

Lewis, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Cardinals cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals released him from their practice squad shortly after. The Patriots signed him in September of last year and he finished out 2017 in New England. He was among their final roster cuts on Saturday.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his college career at Pittsburgh, Lewis recorded 103 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, two interceptions and eight pass defenses over the course of 40 games.
