Bills Claim OT Conor McDermott, TE Khari Lee & LB Deon Lacey

The Buffalo Bills officially claimed  OT Conor McDermott, TE Khari Lee, and LB Deon Lacey off of waivers on Sunday.

McDermott, 24, was selected with the No. 211 overall pick in the sixth round by the Patriots in this year’s NFL Draft.

He received a four-year contract worth $2,535,028 that includes a signing bonus of $135,028. New England elected to waive him on Saturday as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

During his college career at UCLA, McDermott started 32 games and even saw some time at tight end, so he is an athletic offensive lineman. He was was a second-team All-Pac 12 during his junior and senior years.
