Bills Claim RB Dri Archer Off Waivers From Jets

The Buffalo Bills officially claimed RB Dri Archer off of waivers from the Jets on Tuesday.

Archer, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Steelers. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.7 million rookie contract that included a $506,016 signing bonus when the Steelers cut him back in November to make room for WR Jacoby Jones, who was claimed off of waivers.

The Jets elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract in February, only to waive him on Monday.

In 2015, Archer appeared in eight games and total 354 kick return yards for the Steelers.
