Bills Sign WR Naaman Roosevelt & DT Landon Cohen, Cut WR Ramses Barden & LB Nathan Williams

The Buffalo Bills announced the signing of WR Naaman Roosevelt and DT Landon Cohen, as well as the release of WR Ramses Barden and LB Nathan Williams.

Cohen, 27, was a seventh-round pick of the Lions back in 2008. He spent two seasons with Detroit before joining the Patriots and Bears in recent years.

In 2013, Cohen appeared in 14 games and totaled 15 tackles for Chicago.

Roosevelt was waived by the Lions last week and wound up going unclaimed, so it appears as though he may have secured another opportunity with the Bills.

Roosevelt, 26, signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Buffalo back in 2010. He spent the first two years with the Bills and caught 25 passes for 396 yards and a touchdown over this period of time. Last year, he signed with the Browns, but didn’t see any action.

Barden signed a future/reserve contract with the Bills, but it appears as though Buffalo is more comfortable moving forward with Roosevelt on their roster.
