Bills Cut DT Andrew Fluellen, Waive WR Deonte Thompson From I.R.

The Buffalo Bills made a serious of roster moves on Friday including releasing DT Andre Fluellen, per Vic Carruci.

  • The Bills also waived WR Deonte Thompson from injured reserve with a settlement and signed DE Cedric Reed to their practice squad.

Fluellen, 30, is a former third round pick of the Lions back in 2008. He has spent most of his seven-year NFL career in Detroit, but has had brief stints with the Bears and Dolphins.

The Bills brought Fluellen back earlier in the week, despite cutting him last weekend.

In 2014, Fluellen appeared in eight games and recorded 10 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery for the Lions.

Thompson, 26, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2012. He has appeared in 14 games over the last three years.

The Bills signed him off of the Ravens’ practice squad back in December of last year.
