Update:

The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve placed DE Alex Carrington on season-ending injured reserve and waived LB AJ Tarpley.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bills DE Alex Carrington suffered a torn quad during Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs.

  • According to Rapoport, Carrington’s injury will require surgery and end his 2015 season.

Carrington, 28, signed a one-year, $825,000 contract shortly after this year’s draft. He’ll make a base salary of $745,000 for the 2015 season before testing the open market next year.

This season, Carrington has recorded eight tackles and no sacks over the course of seven games for the Bills.
