Bills DT Kyle Williams A “50-50” To Return This Season

Bills HC Rex Ryan told reporters on Saturday that DT Kyle Williams (knee) is “50/50” to return this season, per Joe Buscaglia.

Williams sustained a PCL injury close to a month ago that was expected to keep him out of the lineup for 3-4 weeks. However, it sounds like Williams’ injury is more severe than initially believed.

Williams, 32, signed a three-year, $22.95 million contract with the Bills back in March. He stands to make base salaries of $4.8 million (2015), $7 million (2016), and $10.5 million (2017) over the remainder of the contract.

This season, Williams has recorded 14 tackles and a sack for the Bills’ defense over the course of six games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 30 defensive tackle out of 69 qualifying players.

We’ll have more regarding Williams’ potential return as the news is available.
