Ryan Talbot of the New York Upstate reports that the Bills are scheduled to bring in RB Karlos Williams for a workout on Friday.

Williams posted the following Tweet on his account Thursday:

The Bills made the decision cut Williams in part to his conditioning being a major issue. Reports mentioned that Williams showed up to offseason workouts between 20-25 pounds overweight.

Williams, 23, was taken in the fifth round of last year’s NFL Draft by the Bills. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,495,352 rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Williams appeared in 11 games for the Bills and ran for 517 yards on 93 carries (5.6 YPC) to go along with 11 receptions for 96 yards receiving and 9 total touchdowns.
