Bills Expected To Start Nathan Peterman In Week 9

According to Adam Schefter, Bills QB Derek Anderson suffered a concussion on Monday, which means Buffalo is expected to start Nathan Peterman at quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Bears.

Peterman actually won the Bills’ starting job coming out of the preseason, but was replaced soon after by rookie Josh Allen.

After Allen got hurt, Buffalo quickly signed Anderson to a contract and had been starting him ever since.

Peterman, 24, was taken in the fifth-round of last year’s draft by the Bills. He signed a four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2018, Peterman has appeared in three games for the Bills and completed 40.6 percent of his passes for 108 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions.
