Bills Have Fred Jackson As Their No. 1 RB

The Toronto Globe and Mail reports that the Buffalo Bills will start the season with Fred Jackson as their No. 1 running back.

This appeared to be the case after the teams third preseason game when Jackson expressed his concern regarding his role on the team. Head coach Chan Gailey was said to have spoken with Jackson following his public comments and reiterated his importance to the team.

C.J. Spiller continues to show flashes of being great but ultimately hasn’t been able to remain consistent. Either player will have a hard to producing behind the Bills terrible offensive line but for the time being Jackson will get the first shot at it.
