Bills Hosted Defensive Linemen Roy Miller, Leger Douzable & Devon Still On Visits

Ian Rapoport reports that the Bills also brought in free agent defensive linemen Roy Miller, Leger Douzable, and Devon Still for visits on Monday along with veteran WR Anquan Boldin.

Miller, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2009. He spent four years in Tampa Bay before signing a five-year, $18.63 million contract that included $1.975 million guaranteed on with the Jaguars in 2013.

Miller was set to make a base salary of $3,637,500 for the 2017 season when the Jaguars released him in a move that freed up $3,962,500 of available cap space this past March.

In 2016, Miller appeared in six games and recorded 10 tackles and no sacks for the Jaguars. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 156 total snaps last season.

Still, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2012. He spent just over two years in Cincinnati before he was released at the start of the 2014 season and later added to the team’s practice squad.

The Bengals brought Still back on a one-year, $740,000 contract back in March of 2015 but he wound up being among their final roster cuts at the start of the season.

The Texan elected to sign Still to a future/reserve contract last January and he managed to make the team coming out of the preseason. However, he was placed on injured reserve a few months into the regular season.

In 2016, Still appeared in three games and recorded three tackles and no sacks for the Texans.

We have Miller featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
