Bills Hosting WR Andre Holmes For Visit

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Bills are hosting free agent WR Andre Holmes for a visit.

Yesterday, the NFLPA accidentally posted that the Bills had finalized a three-year, $4.5 million contract with Holmes. However, Garafolo later explained that NFL agents have to send all of their offers from NFL teams to the NFLPA and this one was confused as a done deal.

Holmes reported has drawn interest from several teams including the 49ers, Redskins, Lions, Jets, Bears, and Raiders.

Holmes, 28, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Hillsdale back in 2011. He lasted just a month in Minnesota before catching on with the Cowboys at the start of the season when he signed to their practice squad.

After a brief stint with the Patriots, Holmes was claimed off waivers by the Raiders and has spent the past four years in Oakland.

In 2016, Holmes appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and caught 14 passes for 126 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 292 total snaps for the Raiders last season.
