Bills Interviewing Eagles College Scouting Director Trey Brown For GM Job

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Bills are interviewing Eagles college scouting director Trey Brown for their GM vacancy.

This is the third known candidate for the Bills general manager position.

So far, Buffalo has interviewed Panthers assistant GM Brandon Beane and Texans Director of Player Personnel Brian Gaine for the position.

The Bills officially fired GM Doug Whaley last Sunday following the 2017 NFL Draft, which didn’t come as much of a surprise, considering that there had been rumors that Whaley would be replaced for months.

Brown, 32, has been with the Eagles for the past three season and has previously worked for the Patriots.

Other speculative candidates for the position include:

  1. Panthers director of player personnel Don Gregory
  2. Chiefs co-director of player personnel Brett Veach
  3. Packers director of football operations Eliot Wolf
  4. Chiefs director of pro personnel Will Lewis
  5. Steelers VP of football and business administration Omar Khan
  6. Jaguars director of player personnel Chris Polian
  7. Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio
  8. Ravens assistant GM Eric DeCosta
  9. Seahawks co-director of player personnel Trent Kirchner

We’ll have more regarding the Bills’ GM search as the news is available.
