Bills LT Cordy Glenn Suffers High-Ankle Sprain, Out For Preseason

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bills LT Cordy Glenn suffered a high-ankle sprain and is likely to miss the entire preseason.

  • According to Rapoport, it does not sound like Glenn sustained any structural damage to his ankle, which is obviously a good sign.

Glenn was seen Monday sporting a walking boot on his injured ankle.

Glenn, 26, was taken in the second-round of the 2012 NFL draft. He played out his four-year, $4,865,180 rookie contract before the Bills used their franchise tag on him several months ago.

Glenn would have made $13.7 million fully guaranteed for the 2016 season, but he and the Bills eventually reached an agreement on a five-year deal worth $65 million, which includes $36 million guaranteed.

In 2015, Glenn appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 10 offensive tackle out of 76 qualifying players.
