Bills Place CB Leodis McKelvin On Season-Ending I.R.

The Bills announced Monday that they have placed CB Leodis McKelvin on season-ending injured reserve with a fractured ankle.

  • Buffalo also announced the signing of former Redskins’ S Bacarri Rambo.

Corey Graham is likely to takeover for McKelvin in the team’s starting lineup for the remainder of the season.

McKelvin, 24, is in the second year of his four-year, $17 million contract that included $6 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $3.1 million for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

McKelvin’s 2014 season ends with him recording 48 tackles, four interceptions and a forced fumble over the course of 10 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 65 cornerback out of 112 qualifying players this season.
