Bills Place LT Cordy Glenn On Injured Reserve

The Buffalo Bills announced Friday that they’ve placed LT Cordy Glenn on injured reserve.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said of the decision to place Glenn on I.R.: “Somewhat of a frustrating year overall. We realize his talent. He’s going to have a procedure in the near future with Bob Anderson.”

Glenn’s name actually surfaced as a potential trade candidate in the days leading up to the trade deadline. However, Buffalo reportedly had a high asking price for him and it appears as though no team was willing to meet their asking price.

Glenn, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2012. He’s currently in the second year of his five-year, $65 million contract that included $36 million guaranteed and a $16 million signing bonus.

Glenn will make base salaries of $9 million (2017, $9.25 million (2018), $7.25 million (2019), and $7.5 million (2020) over the remainder of the agreement.

In 2017, Glenn has appeared in six games for the Bills.
