Bills Placing WR Marcus Easley On I.R. With Dislocated Kneecap & 3 Knee Fractures

Bills HC Rex Ryan told reporters on Monday that WR Marcus Easley dislocated his kneecap and broke his knee in three different places, per Joe Buscaglia.

Ryan added that they’ll be placing Easley on season-ending injured reserve at some point this week.

Buscaglia specifically referred to Easley’s knee injury as a “major, major injury,” so we’ll have to see what kind of timeline he’ll be on moving forward.

Easley, 28, is in the first year of his four-year, $7 million contract that included $2.2 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $825,000 this season to go along with another $1.075 million in 2016.

His 2015 season ends with him appearing in 13 games for the Bills and recording one reception for 58 yards receiving and a touchdown.
