Bills Plan To Re-Sign OL Gabe Ikard Next Week

Aaron Wilson reports that the despite cutting OL Gabe Ikard on Friday, the Bills are planning to re-sign him next week.

The Bills made a number of roster moves today including:

  • Bills activated rookie OLB Shaq Lawson from the PUP list.
  • Bills waived TE Gerald Christian.
  • Bills promoted TE Manasseh Garner to their active roster.

Ikard, 26, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the season and was later claimed off of waivers by the Bills.

After a brief stint with the Browns, the Lions claimed him off of waivers before cutting him loose coming out oof the preseason. The Bills signed him to their practice squad before calling him a few weeks later.

In 2016, Ikard appeared in two games for the Bills.
