Bills Promoting OL Greg Ikard To Active Roster, Cut LB Bryson Albright

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Bills are promoting OL Gabe Ikard to their active roster ahead of tonight’s game against the Jets.

  • The Bills announced that they’ve waived LB Bryson Albright to make room for Ikard.

Ikard, 25, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the season and was later claimed off of waivers by the Bills.

After a brief stint with the Browns, the Lions claimed him off of waivers before cutting him loose a few weeks ago. The Bills later signed him to their practice squad.

In 2015, Ikard appeared in four games for the Bills and Lions.

Albright, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Miami (OH) back in May.

He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was inactive for their Week 1 game.
