Bills QB EJ Manuel Out For Rest Of Preseason Due To Minor Knee Surgery

The Buffalo Bills announced first-round pick QB E.J. Manuel will be out for the rest of the preseason due to “a minor knee procedure.

According to the team, Manuel woke up with swelling his left knee and an MRI Saturday morning confirmed that he’ll miss the remainder of the preseason.

It appears as though Manuel had done enough during training camp and in the first two preseason games to lock up the starting job, we’ll have to see how he recovers in the next two weeks before we know whether or not he will be under center come Week 1.

Along with Manuel, two year veteran Kevin Elliott suffered a torn ACL, which will sideline him for the entire season.
