Bills RB Jonathan Williams Won’t Be Disciplined By NFL For Prior Arrest

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bills RB Jonathan Williams, who was recently found not guilty of driving while intoxicated, won’t be disciplined by the NFL under their substance abuse policy.

Last July, Williams was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Arkansas. He was taken into custody and booked around 3:20 a.m. by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Williams was found not guilty a few weeks ago.

Williams, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bills back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.58 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $540,000, $630,000, and $720,000 over the next three years.

In 2016, Williams appeared in 10 games and rushed for 94 yards on 27 carries (3.5 YPC) and one touchdown.
