Bills RB LeSean McCoy Has New Hamstring Tear, Expected To Miss 3-4 Weeks

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that a recent MRI on Bills RB LeSean McCoy‘s hamstring revealed that he has a new tear.

According to Garafolo, McCoy is expected to miss 3-4 weeks if he intends on being 100 percent healthy upon returning to the Bills.

Buffalo ruled out McCoy earlier in the week for today’s game against the Giants, but it appears as though Karlos Williams could in line for a large workload moving forward.

McCoy, 27, came over in a trade that sent Kiko Alsono to the Eagles. The Bills wasted no time in locking up McCoy to a five-year, $40 million contract that included $26.05 million guaranteed.

This season, McCoy has ran for 146 yards on 43 carries (3.4 YPC) to go along with seven receptions for 83 yards receivin and a touchdown.
