Bills RB LeSean McCoy Unlikely To Play In Week 4

Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that Bills RB LeSean McCoy is unlikely to play against the Giants in Week 4.

Bills HC Rex Ryan hinted that he may elect to hold McCoy out of this week’s game while he’s dealing with a hamstring injury.

McCoy admitted, himself, that he has had a hard time going full speed since the season got under way, so it’s probably the right move to hold him out and get him as close to 100 percent as possible.

This means Karlos Williams is in line for a large workload against the Giants. Buffalo also has Anthony Dixon on their roster as well.

McCoy, 27, came over in a trade that sent Kiko Alsono to the Eagles. The Bills wasted no time in locking up McCoy to a five-year, $40 million contract that included $26.05 million guaranteed.

This season, McCoy has ran for 146 yards on 43 carries (3.4 YPC) to go along with seven receptions for 83 yards receivin and a touchdown.
