Bills Re-Sign RFA DT Corbin Bryant

The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that DT Corbin Bryant has signed his restricted tender for the 2016 season.

The Bills used a low-round tender on Bryant that will run them $1,671,000 for the 2016 season. This designation gave them the right of first refusal on any contract offer he received, but wouldn’t have included any compensation had they elected to not match an offer.

Bryant, 28, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern back in 2011. He later caught on with the Steelers and spent over a year in Pittsburgh before he was cut from their practice squad during the 2012 season.

The Bills later signed him to a contract and brought him back on an exclusive rights deal last April.

In 2015, Bryant appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and recorded 45 tackles, no sacks, and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 48 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players.
