Bills Re-Sign WR Ed Eagan & TE Manasseh Garner To Practice Squad

The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve signed WR Ed Eagan and TE Manasseh Garner to their practice squad after they officially cleared waivers on Monday.

Garner, 24, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of last year. He lasted just a week in Kansas City before he was waived and signed by the Browns.

Garner was unfortunately among the Browns’ early roster cuts. He was later signed to the Bills practice squad, but the Broncos added him to their active roster and brought him back on a future/reserve contract before cutting him loose during the summer.

Denver brought Garner back during the preseason only to cut him loose a few weeks later. The Bills eventually signed him to their practice squad and just promoted him a week ago.

Eagan, 23, is an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern State that originally signed on with the Cowboys back in May. Unfortunately, Dallas waived him during the preseason but he later signed on with the Browns.

Eagan was signed to the Browns practice squad a month ago and called up earlier in the week.

During his college career, Eagan recorded 175 receptions for 2,229 receiving yards (12.7 YPC) with 13 touchdowns. He also rushed the ball 12 times for 65 rushing yards (5.4 YPC).
