Bills Reworked C Eric Wood’s Contract, Created $2.5M Of Cap Room

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bills restructured C Eric Wood’s contract in recent days and in turn created $2.5 million of cap space.

According to the NFLPA, the Bills now have $12,935,861 in available cap space to work with following a series of roster moves this week.

Wood, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bills back in 2009. He’s currently in the fourth year of his five-year, $27.7 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $4.125 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2015, Wood appeared in all 16 games for the Bills.
