Bills Sign DT Casey Walker, Waive DE Cedric Reed

The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve signed DT Casey Walker to a contract and placed DE Cedric Reed on waivers Saturday.

Walker, 26, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Carolina before he waived and later signed by the Patriots.

The Ravens signed him off of the Patriots’ practice squad in December of 2014 and extended him an exclusive rights tender. However, they placed he was waived in August of last year and later signed by the Patriots.

Walker signed on to the Cowboys’ practice squad at the start of last season, but was placed on waivers just a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Walker appeared in two games and recorded just two tackles and no sacks for the Cowboys.
