Bills Sign Former Cowboys DE Ryan Davis

The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve agreed to terms with former Cowboys DE Ryan Davis.

Davis, 28, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Bethune-Cookman back in 2012. He was on an off of their practice squad before making the 53-man roster in 2014.

Davis returned to the Jaguars on a one-year exclusive rights deal last year and was brought back on a restricted tender several months ago. However, Jacksonville elected to cut him loose at the start of the 2016 season.

The Cowboys signed him to a contract a few weeks later.

In 2016, Davis appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded four tackles, no sacks, and a fumble recovery.
