Bills Sign G William Campbell & DT Jeremy Towns To Practice Squad, Cut Two

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have signed G William Campbell and DT Jeremy Towns to their practice squad and waived TE Jamie Childers and RB Lonnie Pryor to make room for them.

Campbell, 23, was taken in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Jets. He has yet to appear in an NFL game and was ultimately waived as New York trimmed their roster down 53 players before the start of the season.

Towns, 25, signed on with the Redskins an an undrafted free agent out of Samford back in August. He lasted just a few weeks with the team before he was placed on waivers ahead of the roster cuts deadline.

During his senior season at Samford, Towns recorded 54 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
