Bills Sign K Billy Cundiff & WR Denarius Moore

The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they’ve signed former Browns K Billy Cundiff and former Raiders WR Denarius Moore to contracts.

  • The Bills also released K Jordan Gay and WR Marcus Thigpen.

Cundiff, 35, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Drake back in 2005. Since then Cundiff has played for several teams including the Buccaneers, Packers, Saints, Falcons, Chiefs, Lions, Ravens, Redskins, 49ers, Jets and most recently for the Browns.

In 2014, Cundiff converted 22 of 29 field goal attempts this season, but was just one of three from 50 yards or more.

Moore, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with the Raiders before signing a one-year deal with the Bengals several months ago.

Unfortunately for Moore, he was among the Bengals first roster cuts over a month ago.

In 2014, Moore appeared in 10 games and caught 12 passes for 115 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 237 total snaps last year to go along with a poor rating as a receiver.
