Bills Sign Veteran OL Fernando Velasco

The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve signed veteran OL Fernando Velasco to a contract on Thursday.

Buffalo brought Velasco in a for a visit today, so it appears as though everything went well.

Velasco, 31, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in 2008. He spent four years in Tennessee before joining the Steelers during the 2013 season.

Velasco spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the Panthers after a brief stint with the Titans.

In 2015, Velasco appeared in 11 games for the Panthers and played a total of 116 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
